Pags 32-50 Okay Hart
This little boy is way more than people think he is. He is not a personification of Hemingway's love for writing or whatever he has to symbolize something so much more. He states quite a few times that he wishes the boy was here. How can he be something tangible or not tangible ? When He is there? Help Me!

i mean i get that the boy could be more then a representation of something, but could we also say that the boy can represent picture of the wife?

The boy can honestly be open to many interpretations, but the one I have come to terms with is the fact he is more of a general meaning. I think he is just the representation of everyone that has helped him in his life all of which he left to go on his "mental journey" so to speak.
