The Mysterious Boy
According to page numbers that I don't have in front of me (I found an electronic copy of the text online, however) the boy's name is Manolin. A lot of students find the boy mysterious; the line that I think tells the most is "The old man had taught the boy to fish and the boy loved him." Pro tip: If you find the electronic copy on the internet, you can hit Ctrl+F and then automatically search the document for whatever keywords you are looking for. If this doesn't help you now, it may at some point in the future.
