Three Sentences of Perfection

Never have I read a story as interesting and subliminal as "The Old Man and the Sea" by Ernest Hemingway. Although the story of the fisherman may seem bland at times, the symbolism packs a substantial punch, leaving readers with endless possibilities of which to ponder and analyze. Being one of his last works of writing, distrubuting catharsis fragment by fragment, riddled wih hidden contemplations of suicide, this story essentially contains the last words and thoughts of Ernest Hemingway.
