The old man and the sea were smart, on the edge, far too deep for the average person, enough to grab, bottomless pit of ideas. Understanding that Hemingway may have had the feeling of solitude, but yet he’s not to secluded from his mind to wonder. The book may have had one meaning to him, but interpreted differently by others, more meaning, deeper thought, swimming in a sea of depression, life goes on, the end, read again, decipher more.
