on page 64
on page 64 it said "he jumped almost as though to show me how big he was. i know now, anyway, he thought." he was refering to the marlin fish and hemingway in my opinion was talking about his idea in a way, that his ideas(as great as they maybe) came and went out of his mind. that maybe he knew what to say but he couldnt quite grasp the concept.

I get where you're coming from! Or maybe, he had a great thought but then forgot it because his brain was moving at a faster speed then his hand can write?
